Approtrans Campaign:
Approtrans is a non-profit organisation run by Olly and Ting, working to bring an end to car culture and promote more appropriate transport choices.
Olly is an anti-car activist, has already set up his "noSUV" campaign. We decided to run more projects to promote appropriate transport choices. So far, our projets include:noSUV.org, Move Asia, Greenwash Car, Beijing to Paris carfree 2007. Most of the websites are now still under construction, Olly is working hard to make them better. Beijing to Paris carfree 2007
One day while cycling in China, in "Lugu Lake", I read a story from a Chinese magazine on the first Beijing to Paris car race in 1907. I told Olly, and he said why not held a competition that is to be the first across the line, but with a limit to the allowed energy consumption in 2007, exactly 100 years after the first Beijing to Paris car race.
